Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 26, 2018
No plans for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend this year? Then come play pinball in Vienna on 5/26! This is an annual event with some of the top players participating and coming from all over the Mid-Atlantic area. BYOBeverage. Chicken BBQ, burgers, hot dogs and finger type foods will be provided. A grill will also be available for those wanting to bring their own items to BBQ. No player limit. We will be running a main tournament with a new format this year, group match play and it will be IFPA sanctioned. The main tournament is also part of the Pintervention Circuit Tour. We will also be running a side tournament called "split flips". The "split flips" tournament will NOT be IFPA sanctioned. For "split flips", pick your partner, throw in $10 and the top 3 teams will get to split the pot at 65% (first), 25% (second), and 10% (third).
Tournament Details:
When: 05/26/18
Where: 10236 Brittenford Dr. Vienna, VA 22182
Time: 1PM Start. Games will go on at 11am for practice and will turn off at 12:45pm so we can start announcements.
Cost: $25 for main tournament ($4 will go to food, $1 to IFPA fees). $10 for "split flips" side tournament.
Format: IFPA Match Play in groups of 4. Qualifying will be from 1-5pm with a minimum of 7 rounds guaranteed.
Finals: Based on 32 or more entries, Top 8 will go to "A" Finals, Next 8 will go to "B" Finals, all other players will go to "C" Finals
Scoring: 7 points for 1st, 5 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 1 point for 4th
Prizes: Trophies plus cash payouts

Finals format will be PAPA style for "A" and "B" division using the following format using the 4-2-1-0 scoring method. 2 groups of 4 players in each group playing 3 games in a 4 game bank. Top 2 players in each group will then advance to the finals which will again be 3 games in a 4 game bank.
"C" division will be a 2 strike format.
**Current game lineup is Capt Fantastic, The Walking Dead, Dracula, Fish Tales, Ghost Busters, Snow Queen, White Water, Stern KISS, Funhouse, Stern Star Trek, Star Trek The Next Generation, Lord of the Rings LE, Game of Thrones LE, Skateball, Bow and Arrow, Family Guy, Spiderman Pro, Aerosmith Pro, Scared Stiff, Metallica, Guardians of the Galaxy
