Tournament Date: May 29, 2018
A weekly pinball matchplay tournament for women on Tuesday in Pittsburgh!
The tournament has a $5 entry fee, which will create the prize pool. Arrive by 7PM, with the first round being drawn shortly after.
The tournament is a 4-player Swiss match play format, consisting of all of the playable machines at Kickback. Groups of 3 may need to be drawn based on availability. Once all players are done with the current round, the next round will be drawn. Rounds will continue to be drawn until 9:30. If there are significant ties (Top 3), they will be broken by a single additional game.
The tournament will use the PAPA/BoPPL scoring format:
4 Player Groups:
1st Place - 5 Points
2nd Place - 3 Points
3rd Place - 2 Points
4th Place - 1 Point
3 Player Groups:
1st Place - 5 Points
2nd Place - 3 Points
3rd Place - 1 Point
Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
3rd Place - $5 or $10, depending on TD discretion based on attendance
2nd Place - 40% of the rest of the pot
1st Place - 60% of the rest of the pot
