The Pinball Club Flippnic and Vöcklabrucker FlipperSportVerein FlippArena are very happy to coorganize the IFPA European Championship Series Final 2017 in the Location from the Flippnics in the Hall of Pinball Fame in Badendorf near Graz.
You have played within the calendar year 2017 at one or several IFPA recognized European Championship Series Tournaments.
You have been ranked within the best 32 players or you won an IFPA National Championship in Europe within 2017 and therefore you are qualified for the IFPA European Championship Series Final. If you win this tournament, then you will be the IFPA EUROPEAN CHAMPION 2017 and you will get a spot for the IFPA World Championship this year in Toronto (June 18)
The Tournament will be held from 23rd till 25th of March 2018 in Badendorf 12B, 8413 Badendorf, Austria at the Hall of Pinball Fame.
There are 3 further tournaments which will be held during this time and the main tournament will have more than 64 participants to reach full WPPR points (most likely up to 96 players)
This weekend will give you the possibility to win a lot of WPPR points ????
The tournaments will be
• ECS Final on Saturday and Sunday (best 32 with 100% TGP)
• ECS Main on Saturday and Sunday (up to 96 players with target 100% TGP)
• ECS Side & Classic on Saturday with Final on Sunday
• ECS Warmup on Friday 6pm and Final start latest 12pm
We will have a strong focus on the timing and in worst case a tournament needs to be shortened a bit to have not a 24h race. But due to the split of the ECS Final on 2 days we have much more play time considered as the year before.
Several accommodation options are available nearby Badendorf.
In General, it would be best to drive by car or fly to Graz (~30 min) or Vienna (~ 2 1/2h) and drive from there by Car to Badendorf.
Registration for the other tournaments will be done based on 1st come basis, but a spot will be kept free for the ECS Finalists. Please inform us therefore if you would like to join also the other 3 tournaments.
Registration for the tournaments needs to be done on the Flippnic homepage (https://flippnic.at/). For the ECS Final you need also to inform us via email (esc@flipper-sv.at) latest till 18 th February 2018 if you want to participate or not. If we do not here anything from you till the 18 th February 2018 or if you do not want to participate then automatically the next ranked players will be qualified for the tournament
Entry fees:
• ECS Final 35€ to fill the price pool
• ECS Main 20€
• ECS Side & Classic 10€
• ECS Warmup 10€
• A delicious lunch will cost per day 13€ (vegetarian or meat), available on Sat and Sun
