Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 10, 2017
Membership Required to play. See richmondpinballcollective.org/membership page for details.
$5 Entry Fee
Nine tables will be selected from the available tables at the Richmond Pinball Collective. Each of those tables will have a known and displayed objective which will be either a target score to reach or some objective to accomplish on the game (for example, starting a particular multi-ball or earning an extra ball).
All tables will be set to play 5-ball games. Once you achieve the objective on that game, you stop playing. Your score on that table is the number of balls it took for you to reach the objective. So, just like in golf, you are going for the lowest score. If after 5 balls you still have not reached the objective, your score will either be a 6 (if the objective was not a target score) or will be a weighted score from 6-10 depending on how far away you are from the target score.
Your final tournament score will be the sum of your pingolf score on each of the tables. Ties in the top 8 positions will be settled by a single pin-golf game on a random table (among the 9 that were in the tournament).
80% of Tourney Fees go toward prizes (cash and awards)
20% of Tourney Fees go to RPC to cover expenses
