Tournament Overview

The Pintastic Silverball Rumble will be an unlimited PAPA style qualifying format.
There will be a bank or 12 games from all eras. Games are TBD once we are closer to the event.
You will choose 5 games from the bank to make 1 entry. You will be awarded points on each game based on how your score rates against other players scores on the same game. The highest score on a game is awarded 100 points. 2nd highest is 90 points. 3rd highest is 85. It then goes down in 1 point increments from there. 4th, 84, 5th, 83......
All games rulings and malfunctions will be decided on by the IFPAPA rules set : http://www.ifpapinball.com/menu/rules/
Each entry is 10$ Prize pool is determined by the entry fees taken in minus trophy and setup of tournament costs. Prize money will be paid out to the top 8 players along with trophies for the top 4
Qualifying will take place from 12-8 on Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. Last entry for each day must be started by the cutoff time. Any unused entries will be refunded.
Finals will take place at 3:00 on Saturday for the top 24 qualifiers. The top 8 qualifiers will get a buy for the first round of finals. The format for the finals is head to head, best of 5 matches a round. Finals will last for 5 rounds. There will be a match in the 5th round for 3rd and 4th place as well. For each match top seed will have choice of game or play order. The other player will have choice of whichever their opponent did not pick. When choosing a game there will be no waiting. Players must choose an open game. For each game after the first the loser of the previous game has choice of game or play order.
There will be an all weekend side tournament (Non IFPA endorsed) run on a pair of linked NBA Fastbreak machines to raise money for the Andrea Ritz Clinics in Paraguay. It will be a combined high score contest. Cost is 1$ per player. Prize pool split between the chairty and the winners Two player will play head to head on the machine but submit their combined score as a single entry into the tournament. Players will take a picture of their combined scores and upload to The Sanctum’s facebook page with the hashtag #pintasticnewengland2017 At the end of the weekend we will contact the winner to award them their prize.
The Andrea Ritz Clinics in Paraguay, a non-profit 501 (c )(3 ) organization, was established by George and Sylvia Ritz in 1998 in memory of their daughter, Andrea, who died of juvenile diabetes at the age of 12. They have built and operate six clinics which are located in remote Parguayan villages. The clinics serve the population of a wide area surrounding each facility. The organization also builds schools, establishes water systems, promotes health education and undertakes related projects in the villages where clinics are located as needs are identified.
ARCP is working closely with several groups of displaced indigenous Mby'a to provide medical care and address each groups needs and concerns as their way of life changes and they attempt to adapt to new realties of existence for their people. Some of these needs include clothing and blankets, housing, clean water systems, education for youth, education and the means to provide food through animal husbandry and agriculture.
