DFW Summer League for 2017:

ALL DETAILS WILL BE POSTED TO THE D/FW LEAGUE WEBSITE ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY MAY 3.

All venues have enough games to accommodate; thus, we are doing both IFPA tournaments (listed separately) and league events on all dates.

League locations:
Qualifying 1: Jared Guynes' home - Rockwall, Texas - Saturday June 10 - Noon Start
Qualifying 2: Quarter Lounge Arcade (a very unique arcade) - Bedford, Texas - Sunday July 9 - 2:00 PM start
Finals: Marcus Trevino's home - Rockwall, Texas - Saturday July 22 - Noon Start

League qualifying will be HERB style qualifying at each of the two qualifying venues.
We will be doing unlimited qualifying over 6 hours (6% TGP boost) with top score on 4 machines required (4 significant games).
This will be done at both qualifying events.
For both qualifying events, qualifying time will begin at the start time and run for 6 hours total.
Thus, TGP from qualifying looks like 8 games total (4 per event) with a 12% boost for open qualifying of 6 hours at each event.

Finals will now be a 2 strike tournament - Best-of-1 Matches (4 player matches – 3rd/4th place get strikes – receives 2X bonus for 4-player games) – Per TGP guide: 8-14 players –> 14 games towards TGP

So qualifying plus playoff would be at least 22 significant games + 12% boost from qualifying hours (at least 25 game equivalent).
