Tournament Overview

Start Date: May 01, 2017
End Date: June 07, 2017

This is a month-long pinball tournament, with unlimited entries. Players can go to the tournament website to register for a free account:
https://matchplay.live/9gje

Once registered, they may use the website to submit "selfies" of their best scores on 5 out of 6 selected machines:

Attack From Mars•Spider-Man•Ghostbusters•The Walking Dead•
Batman '66-Monster Bash

(game list subject to change)

Selfies may be uploaded at any time during the month of May. Selfies must show the score clearly, but do not have to include the player's face.

Players will be awarded points for their scoring: 100 points for the best score on each machine, 90 points for 2nd, 85 points for 3rd, 84 for 4th, 83 for 5th, etc. Players will then be ranked based on total number of points they earn across all 5 games. If you don’t submit a score for a particular game, you get 0 points for that game.

Current standings will be updated on the tournament website throughout the month. At the end of the month, the top players (8-16 players, based on number of entrants) will be invited to play in the May Finals, which will take place on Wednesday, June 7th, from 7-10 PM.

Finals format: The top 16 Qualifiers will all be invited to play in the finals. Players who qualify in positions 1-8 will play for 1st place through 8th place, and players in positions 9-16 will play for 9th-16th place. Players who cannot attend the finals will finish in 17th place or lower, depending on their qualifiying scores. In each division, groups of 4 play a semifinal round across 3 different machines, accumulating 4 points for 1st place finish, 2 points for a 2nd place finish, 1 point for a 3rd place finish, and 0 points for a 4th place finish. Top 2 players in each group of 4 will advance to the final round of 4, conducted using the same 4-2-1-0 scoring system.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 players in both "A" and "B" divisions! This event is sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association, and all participants will be awarded World Pinball Player Ranking points!
