Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 12, 2017
• Machine Reserved Signs: Do not place them on non-tournament machines. Replace when you are done.
• Extra balls: They’re disabled, but sometimes can’t be: play any extra balls
• Minor game malfunctions are allowed if gameplay isn’t significantly compromised.
• Major game malfunctions: A different machine will be assigned randomly by official. Major malfunctions are determined by official
• Slam tilt: If it’s obviously from impact, you lose that round
• Deliberate interference: Intentional touching, distracting, heckling, joking with opponent shall result in a zero score
• Accidental interference: a warning will be given.
• Machine Abuse: Punching, kicking, lifting, tipping, or rocking a machine, or hitting the glass in any way, is grounds for a warning and possible disqualification of game or ejection from the tournament, at the discretion of tournament officials.
• Coaching: Not allowed by opponent or spectators during ball play.
• Game Reference material: Any can be used when it is not a player’s turn. Only provided instructions allowed during ball play. No notes or phones allowed during ball play.
• Absences: 5-minute rule before disqualification from that round, unless previously sanctioned by opponent or official.
• Death Saves / Bang backs, etc…: Immediate disqualification from tournament
• Ball traps: no longer than 30 seconds.
• Unattended games: Never assume an abandoned game in play is over. Don’t plunge the ball.
• Courtesy: stand behind opponent during play, remind your opponent to sign the win/loss log, be present for announcements, respect Blairally facilities, and lose with grace. Profanity does not promote pinball.
• Report any game malfunctions to official for future maintenance.
• Never place drinks on machines, EVER.
