Tournament Overview
Start Date: January 16, 2017
End Date: February 13, 2017
We've now got pinball at Alamo Drafthouse and the combination of pinball and movies has long been great. One of the newest games on the market, The Big Lebowski flips the traditional "crappy movie = great pinball" and is both a fantastic film and a super fun pinball. Come watch the classic and then play match play rounds as part of this inaugural series!
The second one hits closer to home with a screening of Wizard Mode, the documentary about PAPA World Champion Robert Gagno. Some of our local players appear in the film and will be on hand and another round of match play will be played afterwards.
Playoffs and a separate split flipper tournament on the third date will wrap things up with a surprise screening to boot!

The Flipping Film Monday Madness Series will consist of two rounds of qualifying + playoffs. You can play in either qualifier or just a single one.
There is also a non-WPPR Split Flipper tournament on 2/13 as well as the playoffs.
1st qualifier: Monday, January 16th. Winner of qualifier gets $20, runner up $10!
2nd qualifier:Monday, January 30th. Winner of qualifier gets $20, runner up $10!
Playoffs: Monday, February 13th.
Qualifying will be in groups of 4 players with 7/5/3/1 scoring. Each qualifying round will consist of however many rounds we can fit in after the films.
All points a player earns are totaled up after the 2nd qualifier and the top 8 players will qualify for playoffs. Tiebreaker will be whoever have more 1st place finishes, followed by most 2nd place finishes, etc. If still tied, a 1 match playoff will break the tie.
