Tournament Date: November 19, 2016
The FIRST EVER Catskill Classic Pinball Tournament / Saturday November 19th, 2016
Location: Howard’s Place in Mountain Dale NY 12763. PM through Facebook for exact address. This is a private location and host reserves all rights.
Doors open 10am / Open qualifying 10am-6pm / Pinburgh style finals begins 7pm for top 50% (max 16 players).
Entry fee: $ 20 tournament entry for IFPA rankings 1000 and below, $ 10 tournament entry for IFPA rankings 1001 and above. Entry fees returned 100% in prize fund: Top 6 paid: 35% plus Trophy / 25% / 20% / 10% / 5% / 5%
Format: Best Game Qualifying on 10 machines. Unlimited qualifying attempts, but only your best score on each game will count toward qualifying. All scores must be verified by a tournament official or designated party. Aggregate ranking will determine qualification and seeding position for match play final rounds. IFPA scoring will be used for qualifying round, i.e. 100pts for 1st place, 95 pts for 2nd place, 90 pts for 3rd place, 89 for 4th, 88, 87 etc etc.
Top 50% (Max of 16 players) qualify for finals. Finals format: 4 player groups compete in 3 game series, Pinburgh style scoring in finals 3-2-1-0. Top 2 players in each group advance, until we have final 4 compete in one final round to determine final positions. Tiebreakers for advancing in tournament will be 1 game playoff, 3 ball game, on a randomly chosen game. High seed in each group will have game pick or order pick on each game, in descending order.
Play extra balls all day, except in tiebreakers.
This event will be sanctioned by IFPA and all participating players will receive World Pinball Player Ranking Points. IFPA/PAPA rules will be followed. Tournament director reserves ALL rights.
