Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: December 29, 2015

Pinball! Pinball! Pinball! is finally here!
600pm-930pm tournament, no finals. At 600pm, last practice games will be allowed to finish, then the tournament will begin. 930pm will be the last tournament game played.
Format. Match Play. All games played will be 2 player games. At the end of each game, the winner gets a W. The loser gets an L
-
Round 1: Each game will have 2 players on it. Winners leave the machine and go to end of que. Losers stay on game and play 2nd game
AT THIS POINT RULES CHANGE FROM LAST TIME
Round 2: Loser from Round 1 plays next person in line. Newest player will stay on after the Round 2 game, WEATHER THEY WIN OR LOSE. Everyone will be playing 2 games in a row from this point on until the end of the tournament.
Round 3: Newest player will play their 2nd game in a row on same machine, against a new player. That player (win or lose) will stay on for rounds 3 and 4.
ALSO NEW. Each time you are up for your turn, you will not play the game you most recently played. If you played Monster Bash first, you will be playing KISS the next time up. If it is your turn and Monster Bash is open, you will be skipped and have to wait for KISS to open up.
-
Players will get 90 seconds to arrive for their turn. If they cannot make it back to the machine in 90 seconds, they will lose their turn and go to the back of the queue.
-
More rules. Balls stuck or need a ruling? Find me (Dave Cohen). Have fun! Anyone caught cheating will be bounced from the Tourney. Everyone is expected to be on their best behavior. Bang backs and death saves are not allowed. If a feature/light on a machine is not working, keep playing. That feature won't work for all other players. Slam tilts, bang-backs, and death saves are not allowed. First offense is a disqualification from the tournament. Intentionally interfering with another player's game will result in disqualification from the tournament.
Everyone who enters will earn IFPA - International Flipper Pinball Association WPPR Points for the World Pinball Player Rankings (Points depend on turnout, but with past attendance numbers I am confident this tournament would be worth anywhere from 1.39-3.28 WPPR's)
Remember, NO finals. Also, you can attend for as short or as long as you would like. Final Standings will be based on # of Wins; tie breaker is # of losses
