Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: November 14, 2015

Francesco, with help of Steve Bowden , Paul Drabik, Koi Morris , Steve Zahler ( owner of Modern Pinball that will offer free prices for Charity event ! ) and all participants ,is glad to announce the return of SUPER PINGOLF !

Cost for participant : $ 10( prize pool ) and all games will be on coin drop .
FREE if you don't want to participate in prize pool(meaning you cannot win anything ) !
- Start time will be 2:00 pm (place open at 1:00 pm ) and last entry will be started at 3 :00 pm
- There will be 27 holes where each player will play 3 times each machine( 3 holes for each game/machine ) .
Each hole will be an objective
Objective 1 : Start any Multiball
Objective 2 : Start any 2 Multiball
Objective 3 : Start 2 Different Multiball

Each hole is based on 1 game so best you can do is an "Ace " , worse you can do is getting a 4 !
Prepare to get a lot of quarters :)
List of the machines ( subject to change ) :
Shadow
Star Wars Episode 1
Metallica Pro
Star Trek LE
Monster Bash
Addams Family
Attack From Mars
Mustang
Spider Man

Funhouse (back up /tie breaker)

-Players will be put in groups of 3 or 4( officers will decide the groups ! ) . Each player plays for the target score indicated on the score card. The number of balls played to reach the target score will be counted as "Strokes"

-Each game will count as one(or more ) hole played. When the group is done on a hole it will move on down to the next one by moving to another machine or stay on same machine !
-The games will be a mix of DMD, SS & EM (where possible )
- Should you not reach the Target Score after playing 3 balls, record a score of 4 and move on to the next Pin-Hole.

-It may take multiple games to reach the Target Score( target score can be an amount of points , but could be also start a multiball or start a particular feature in the game ! ) . In this case, any additional games played will be added to the score accumulated from previous games.

-If a player earns an extra ball, this will not be counted as an additional Pin-Stroke, but rather as a continuation of the current ball being played.

-Player delays- Since this is a one day tournament we need to keep things moving. Please stay close to the tournament area during rounds. Any player that is not at the game when it is their turn will have their ball plunged after 3 minutes which will count as a stroke.

-If a player passes the Target Score and continues to play subsequent balls of that game, those additional balls will be counted as additional Pin-Strokes on that Pin-Hole. Please keep things moving by stopping play once target score achieved and letting the other players play their balls.

-The order for each game will be alternate : since will be 9 games then on Game 1 , 2 and 3 player 1 will go 1st , on Game 4,5,6 player 1 will go 2nd , on game 7,8,9 player one will go 3rd ( this is for all 3 holes/objectives )
Player 2 will go 2nd on Game 1,2,3 , will go 3rd on Game 4,5,6, and will go 1st on Game 7,8,9
Player 3 then will go 3rd on Game 1,2,3 , will go 1st on Game 4,5,6 and will go 2nd on Game 7,8,9 .

-Scores are cumulative for all rounds including round 2/3 and/or finals !!

- Tie Break - In case of any ties in final standing then decision will be made at moment ! If just for seeding then players with more "Aces" will be higher seeded , in case of still tie the one with more 2's etc .

----NOTE ----: the final standing of this tournament will be used for the bracket of the Charity tournament right after ! If people did not play this event will be put at end on the ranking !

-Anyone caught cheating will be bounced from the Tourney. Everyone is expected to be on their best behavior.
-If you ask how to play a game while you are playing your ball you will get 1 stroke penalty ! Ask before or after !
-Practice is NOT ALLOWED after the tournament started in any of the machines used for the Main Tournament . If you practice any machines that are used for the Main Tournament after has started then you will get 1 stroke penalty for that machine , if you do it again in another machine you will get 2 strokes penalty and so on up to 4 strokes.
-Tilting someone else ball will result in a one stroke penalty for the offender. The player whose ball was tilted will wait until their turn is up again and play with 1 stroke subtracted from their score or play an additional ball in another game ( in any case no game will be restart unless Slam Tilt ) .

-Slam tilting a game in progress will result in a 5 strokes penalty( more than a normal 4 ! ) A second offense will result in a disqualification from the tournament. All other players will repeat the game unless they have already reached the target score.

-Bang backs and death saves are not allowed.
-Ball stuck : call the officers we have the keys !
- If a feature/light on a machine is not working keep playing (that feature won't work for all other players !)
- If a machine reset then all players will repeat the game unless someone has already reached the target score !
- If a machine breaks beyond repair and will be before everyone has played 4 games then everyone will play an alternate machine otherwise that machine will be out and just 6 ( or 8 ) machines will be counted !

-playing someone else ball (playing out of turn) Will result in a 1 stroke penalty. If side tourney you might lose .
