Players play head to head in groups of 3 or 4. The bottom 2 scores receive a strike. After each round, players are reassigned into groups where everyone has a similar amount of strikes (Swiss pairing). Once a player has received 3 strikes they are eliminated. In this format extra balls are always turned off.
