Overall

This event will be located at the Iceberg Arcade (Sych Drywall) 8 Don Valley Parkway, Sunnyside Manitoba. On Saturday February 7th @ 10am

Doors will open at 9:15am

Tournament Format Overview

Qualifying:
Qualifying consists of 7 rounds of 4-player groups, with 2 games per round using 7/5/3/1 scoring (14 games total). Qualifying runs Saturday from 10:00am–4:00pm and uses tiered Swiss pairing.

Playoffs:
Playoffs begin Saturday around 6:30–7:00pm and are expected to finish around 11:00pm.

Top 16 advance to A Division playoffs (if fewer than 32 players attend, Top 12 will advance).

Top 4 in both A and B Divisions receive prize money and hardware.

B Division: The next top 8 players after A Division, excluding players ranked 1–1500 as of February 6, are eligible. The B Division winner receives hardware.

If players are tied for the final playoff spot(s), a one-game tiebreaker (random game and order) will be played immediately after qualifying to determine seeding. All other ties are broken by most 1st-place finishes, then most 2nd-place finishes.

A Division Playoff Format

Round 1:
Players compete in 4-player groups, playing 3 games per round with 4/2/1/0 scoring. The top two players from each group advance. The top seed chooses the game and order for the first game and controls game order for the remaining games. A game may not be chosen again until the Final 4. Any playoff tie for advancement or final positions (1st–4th) is broken on a single tiebreaker game, with the top seed choosing order.

Final 8 and Beyond – Ladder Matchplay:
Once the field is reduced to 8 players, playoffs switch to a ladder matchplay format. Players are grouped by seed and play one game per round. The lowest-finishing player is eliminated, and the group moves up the ladder to include the next highest seed. This continues until four players remain, after which eliminations continue down to a final group of two to determine the winner. The highest remaining seed has choice of game or order in each new group.

B Division Playoff Format

Will consist of the top 8 after the A-Division cut line, this playoff will be only the ladder format to determine the winners. See description of ladder format above
