Match Play
Overall

Players will each be given the opportunity to purchase cards to use during this timed matchplay qualifying; $5 per card. Half of the money raised from card purchases will go into the pot, the other half will go to charity. There will also be a cash and prize raffle benefitting our chosen charity, which will be open to all; must be present to win. Charity TBD.

Cards must be used in qualifying. Finals will be as follows:
If we get 24+ players, 8 will be taken into semi-finals, multi-matchplay on banks of four games.
If less than 24, the top 4 will face off in finals, 3 arenas played individually.

We will play as many rounds as we can for 2.5 hours - between 7:30-10pm-ish - no new rounds after the 2.5 hour mark. All cards are taken from Karl DeAngelo's Critical Hit deck, and players must purchase the cards in a specific order. The cards being used are TBD.

Scoring is 7/5/3/1, $5 buy-in, 48 player cap, 6:45 sign ups, 7:15 announcements, 7:30 start, all ages welcome until 11pm, women/non-binary/trans/femme-identifying players welcome

All players moving to finals will be paid out, with a small amount of the pot removed for costs (IFPA fees/trophy) and the series purse.
