IOWA FALL PINBALL CLASSIC

NOTE: YOU CAN ENTER AT ANY TIME DURING QUALIFYING TIMES. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO PLAY ALL QUALIFYING GAMES AT LEAST ONCE.

NOTE: If you play the third Thursday tournament on 11/20 you will receive a $5 discount off entry to the CLASSIC

The tournament is open for anyone to participate in. $21 entry fee (20 to prize pool 1 to IFPA fees.

EVERYONE makes a final either “A” or “B” finals. The top half in increments of 4 (4,8,12,16……) players after UNLIMITED QUALIFYING will advance to the “A Finals. Rest to “B” finals.

WHAT GAMES WILL BE USED IN THE TOURNAMENT?

Tournament qualifying games will consist of 12 games in which you can play as many times as you want during the pre-determined qualifying times. The game list will be published prior to the tournament so participants have plenty of time to get familiar with game rules and develop a strategy beforehand, although this list is tentative and is subject to change leading up to the event.

QUALIFYING ROUNDS

OPEN Qualifying

11/20 from 6:30PM-10:30PM, 11/21 from 6PM-11PM and 11/22 from 12PM-5PM. During these times if you are registered for the tournament you can play each qualifying game unlimited amount of times in which you will report scores to the director/s on these games. Only your best single score per game will count for qualifying rankings. Point values will be in modified linear value 100 points for highest score among entrants then 90,85,84,83……..

FINALS
Finals will start immediately after qualifying ends on 11/22.
The top half players with the highest cumulative ranking points will move on to “A” finals. The “A” Final Rounds consists of 4-player group knockout, with 3/4 games per round using PAPA Scoring (2 move on 2 are out per group).

“B” Finals structure will be determined based on turnout.
