Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 12, 2015
We are officially putting on our first Monterey Flipper Pinball sponsored Tournament! This is going to be a ton of fun!
We are hosting this tournament at a Great location - Carbone's in lovely Monterey, CA. Sunday July 12th - Doors at 11am / Starts at noon. Food and Drink available on site, all day.
Tournament is a Head to Head, Best 2 out of 3, Double Elimination.
We are loaded up with the International Flipper Pinball Association for World Pinball Player Ranking points. 2 Divisions, Open and Novice. Open if you are Ranked better than 3000th in the IFPA, otherwise you have the option to play in Open or Novice.
Entry fee is $25 for Open and $10 for Novice. Pay out goes to the top 3 in each division - 1st=50%, 2nd=25%, 3rd=12.5%. Donations plus 12.5% of total entry fees will be given to Project Pinball to get a game to the Child Life Department at the UCSF Benioff Hospital; http://www.projectpinball.org/.
Open will be Seeded based on your IFPA rank. Novice will be Seeded by order of Tournament entry.
MFP members will be taking our games to the streets! We are supplying games from our collections to have available for public play at Carbone's from 7/5-7/12.
We are hosting this Tournament for Pinball People of the Greater Bay Area and Beyond! Never played pinball, haven't played in a long time, enthusiasts of all interest levels, and World Champions - Come Play With Us!
