Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: October 25, 2025
Celebrate Matt Nielson’s Birthday and Halloween with a Tournament and Costume Contest. Shenanigans start at 1pm. 8 rounds of group matchplay for qualifying. Swiss pairing. Top 8 players will move to finals. Finals will be PAPA style. 2 groups of 4 playing 3 games a round. Top 2 qualifiers pick games. First game, positions will be chosen from top qualifier to lowest qualifier. Next 2 games, positions will be chosen from last to first from previous game. You cannot choose the same game twice during finals. You must pick one modern game and one classic game (the last game choice can be any game you want). Top two point scores from each group move on to the final four. Top seed from qualifying picks games and positions are decided the same as previous round. The costume contest will be held right after qualifying is finished. Join us for some Halloween / Birthday fun!!
