Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: September 20, 2025

Tournament begins at 5pm. Group match play. We will follow PAPA_IFPA current rules. Likely machines are Williams Indiana Jones, Monster Bash LE remake, Godzilla Premium, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Star Trek Pro, and No Good Gofers. Tournament cost $1 (IFPA fee); coin drop required ($1 or less per game). Starting with saved progress is not allowed. Extra balls can be plunged, but not flipped. If less than 20 players in tournament, it is likely No Good Gofers or Godzilla Premium will be removed from the tournament and used only if a tie breaker is needed, which will consist of 1 ball on either No Good Gofers or Godzilla Premium. A minimum of 4 rounds will be played. All players need to decide how many rounds will be played before the tournament begins. One or two experienced tournament players will be needed to volunteer for a Jury of Appeals to assist the tournament director (Jeff Murphy) with any issues that arise during the tournament.

Players score points based on their finishing order on each machine. On 4 player games, 1st place gets 7 points, 2nd place gets 5 points, 3rd place gets 3 points, and 4th place gets 1 point. For 3 player games, 1st place gets 7 points, 2nd place gets 4 points, and 3rd place gets 1 point. In 2 player games, 1st place gets 7 points and 2nd place gets 0 points.

If a tie-breaker is needed to determine winner, 1 ball will be played on either No Good Gofers or Godzilla Premium or another machine determined by the tournament director (Jeff Murphy) after consultation with the Jury of Appeals . The top score will earn 1 point while 2nd place will score 0 points. Prizes include various pinball related items such as translites, pinball plastics, drink coozies, pinball signs, Murphy Pinball merchandise including discount coupons, etc. Contact Jeff Murphy for additional information: 574-453-7364.
