Both the MAIN and DEATH tournaments will feature the famous Herb Qualifying, with the Side tournament using Card Qualifying. All tournaments will feature PAPA Style Finals (three games per round in Death/Side, four games per round in Main).

11:00am: Main(Herb), Death(Herb) and Side(Card) Open Qualifying Sessions Begin (Day 1)

11:00pm: Main(Herb), Death(Herb) and Side(Card) Day 1 Open Qualifying Sessions End

9:00am : Doors Open

9:00am - 10:00am : Volunteers/Scorekeepers - ONLY Qualifying Hour on Main(Herb) and Death(Herb) Banks

9:30am: Side (Card) Qualifying Session Opens

10:00am: Main(Herb), Death(Herb) Open Qualifying Session Begins (Day 2)

1:00pm: Death(Herb) Qualifying Closes (tiebreakers played out immediately after)

1:15pm - 4:45pm (approx): Death Finals *16 Players*

5:30pm: Side(Card) Qualifying Closes (tiebreakers played out immediately after)

6:00pm - 11:30pm (approx): Side Finals * 24 Players *

10:30pm : Main(Herb) Tournament Qualifying Closes (Tiebreakers played on Sunday Morning)

Weekend Admission: $40 (This fee covers entry and access to the Pinball Company venue for the entire weekend and includes 7 herb game attempts, which can be used for either the main or death (herb) tournaments) This weekend admission is required to compete in the three tournaments. The admission serves as fee to TPC for use of their venue and to cover the IFPA fees. All games will be set on Free Play.


Additional attempts for the Herb Qualifying(Main and Death) tournaments can be purchased for $10 (for 5 attempts) , $20 (for 12 attempts), $40 (for 26 attempts). NOTE: All money raised from additional attempts will fund the respective tourneys’ prize pools only after all tournament expenses have been covered.
Cards for the Side Tournament Qualifying can be purchased for $10 a card (5 games per card) and are purchased separately from the Herb Qualifying tournaments. NOTE: All money raised from the card attempts will fund the respective tourneys’ prize pool only after all tournament expenses have been covered.




::Main Tournament Format::
The Main Tournament of SLAPC 2025 will be a Herb(best games) format featuring over 24 hours of Open Qualifying with unlimited attempts allowed. The Main Tourney will be IFPA Certified with at least 250% TGP and the finals taking place on Sunday(see schedule below). Main Tournament will feature a bank of 12 games with a player's best 6 games counting. We will be using the NeverDrains Software for Qualifying. --- The Top 40 Players after the qualifying session will advance to FINALS on Sunday. Finals will be contested using a 40 Player PAPA Matchplay Bracket with (4,2,1,0) scoring and groups of four(two advancing from each group) for four games per round. The Top 4 Seeds from qualifying will receive a double round bye in finals, with the Top 16 Seeds receiving a single round bye. The Top 16 Finishers in the Main Tournament will receive a percentage of the prize pool (consisting of additional buy-in attempts minus tourney expenses).

::Death Tournament Format::
The Death Tournament of SLAPC 2025 will be a Herb(best games) format featuring 15 hours of Open Qualifying with unlimited attempts allowed. The game setups will be Wicked! The Death Tourney will be IFPA Sanctioned and will be 103% TGP with the finals taking place on Saturday afternoon(see schedule below). Death Tournament will feature a bank of at least 6 games with a player's best 4 games counting. We will be using the NeverDrains Software for Qualifying. --- The Top 16 Players after the qualifying session will advance to FINALS. Finals will be contested using a 16 Player PAPA Matchplay Bracket with (4,2,1,0) scoring and groups of four(two advancing from each group) for three games per round. The Top 4 Finishers in the Death Tournament will receive a percentage of the prize pool (consisting of additional buy-in attempts towards Death by end of qualifying minus tourney expenses).

::Side Card Tournament Format::
The Side Card Tournament of SLAPC 2025 will be a Card(best games) format featuring 20 hours of Open Qualifying with unlimited card attempts allowed. The Side Card tournament will be IFPA Certified with at effectively 250% TGP* and the finals taking place on Saturday Night(see schedule above). Side Card tournament will feature a bank of at least 9 games. A qualifying card will consist of 5 games. Card attempts are separate than herb attempts and the price is $10 a card. We will be using the NeverDrains Software for Qualifying. --- The Top 24 Players after the qualifying session will advance to FINALS on Saturday Night. Finals will be contested using a 24 Player PAPA Matchplay Bracket with (4,2,1,0) scoring and groups of four(two advancing from each group) for three games per round. The Top 8 Seeds from qualifying will receive a single round bye in finals. The Top 8 Finishers in the Side Card Tournament will receive a percentage of the prize pool (consisting of card attempts minus tourney expenses).
