Titan Pinball 2024 Southwest Regional Pin-Masters IFPA tournament – June 29-30, 2024

This is the premiere Pinball Golf event for the Southwestern United States, as a Satellite Tournament for the 2025 IFPA Pin-Masters World Championship*.

Titan Pinball has generously sponsored this year’s Southwest Regional Pin-Masters event, providing $2000 to the prize pool, so we anticipate the total prize pool to be between $4500 and $5000!

Why I Retired From Competitive Pinball Tournaments

In summer 2023, I made the decision to retire from all competitive pinball tournaments. I did so because I had reached a conclusion: pinball tournaments were bad, and they were going to get worse.

In this video I take a look at everything wrong with pinball tournaments with examples and outlook on the current and future state of pinball tournament events. There are many issues in pinball tournaments today, especially match play tournaments which run for way too long.

Operation: High Stakes Tournament at Level 256 in Asheville, NC

On June 2, 2024, Level 256 Classic Arcade Bar in Asheville, NC will host a tournament where the winner takes how an Operation: Thunder pinball (1992 Gottlieb) machine. The machine is in great condition, works flawlessly, and is valued between $2100-2400. Random prize drawings will occur throughout the day totaling about $750 and food will be provided by Asheville Pizza and Brewing Co.

This will be a 16 round head-to-head max match play format tournament. Top 8 will make it to finals in a double elimination best-of-three format. Winner of the winner’s bracket will play the winner of the loser’s bracket in the final best-of-three format.

$75 to enter and pre-registration is strongly recommended to secure your spot. There will be a maximum of 44 players. Doors will open at 12:00PM for warm-ups and the tournament will start at 1:00PM.
