Josh Sharpe wins 2008 GameWorks Pinball Tournament of Champions!
The first tournament hosted at GameWorks proved a huge success with 55 players battling for 16 qualifying positions on Stern’s Batman, Family Guy, NASCAR and Ripley’s Believe it or Not. Josh Sharpe defeated Jason Werdrick in the finals to capture 1st place. Other finalists included Trent Augenstein (3rd place) and Zach Sharpe (4th place).

congrats guys. sorry we had to run after i lost but we had to drive out fast to “avoid” the ice storm that was coming. plus, mr ripley and me werent getting along to well so i had to just “walk away” before…….:). the staff there was super super nice and on top of everything. i was impressed.
hope more gameworks do this.

If it makes you feel any better Andy, I ended up putting 15 mil on Ripley’s and 130 mil on Batman…..and lost to Josh 🙁

I assume the machines were fixed up for the tournament? Is Batman staying there? What about their Sopranos game that was there? Any help to keep my sites up to date would help.
BTW, I recently visited a number of places in the city over Xmas break and have updated the site. There are a couple decent games still out there. As in the words of Gary Stern, please patronize these establishments.
