All attendees of the IFPA17 World Pinball Championship, including staff, volunteers, guests MUST WEAR A MASK at all times while inside the Pinball Asylum. Mask wearing will be part of the player conduct rules for IFPA17, meaning that players can be issued a yellow card and/or red card for not properly wearing a mask on site.
Additionally, PROOF OF VACCINATION is required in advance of the tournament. All attendees must be considered fully vaccinated in order to attend the event. We will not be accepting negative tests in lieu of vaccines. Proof must be sent to the IFPA by April 1, 2022 or we will fully refund that player’s registration fee and fill that spot with an available alternate.
An individual is considered fully vaccinated:
• Two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
• Two weeks after a single-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Proof of vaccination means:
• A CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card; or
• An official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered; or
• An ‘app’ that provides a digital record of vaccinations; or
• A digital or physical photo of such a card or record that includes the individual’s name, the vaccine brand administered, and the date the vaccination was administered.

We have developed these policies in accordance with government regulations, CDC guidance, and currently available scientific data. We will make every effort to communicate changes promptly so that you can make informed decisions about your attendance. For any player that has declined to participate in IFPA17, please note that decision is final.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any gathering where people are present. By attending the IFPA17 World Pinball Championship, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. We know this has been a challenging time for everyone, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines and policies.
