The Ontario Open is coming! It’s the largest pinball event in Ontario in 2023. 5 events over one weekend, Nov. 24-26/23 at Maple Pinball in Mississauga, home to 70 new and classic machines.

Tourneys include:
1. Ontario Open Main event. Pump & dump (herb score) – Fri-Sun
2. Ontario Open Classics event. Friday night.
3. Ontario Open Women’s event. Saturday morning
4. Ontario Open Match Play event. Saturday qualifying. Sunday playoffs (capped at 80 players for now, waitlist will be taken. Weekend pass players will receive preference.)
5. Ontario Open 3 Strikes event. Sunday at 3pm (Note: players cannot play in both playoffs of Main event & 3 Strikes event).

1. Ontario Open Main event. (Herb scoring)
Qualifying: Friday 6pm-midnight. Saturday 10am-midnight. Sunday. 10am-2pm.
- $20/16 entries, $10/7 entries, $5/3 entries, $2/1 entry. Cash or PayPal only accepted. We want to keep entry prices low so everyone can enjoy playing.
- Bank of 15 machines (5 from each era). Your best scores on 9 different machines count for your total. Must have a minimum of 2 machines per era in your 9
- 220% WPPR (based on minimum 48 players)

Playoffs: Sunday at 3pm (to be done between 9-10pm).
- (up to) Top 24 in A Division (top 8 get a bye). Top 16 in A playoffs get paid.
- B division (eligible): top 8 players (players ranked 1-1000 as of Nov. 14 not eligible for B division). Top 4 in B playoffs get paid.
- After qualifying is done, players tied with the same number of points will have their best game(s) as tie breaker(s) for seeding ONLY. If two or more players are tied for a significant playoff spot (i.e. byes, or final playoff spot), they will play a one-game playoff (random game & order) to determine seeding. This will take place immediately when qualifying ends.
- Players will play 3 games per round with 4-2-1-0 scoring, with the top 2 players advancing to the next round. Top seed picks game bank or order of 1st game (lowest score of playoff game gets choice of order for next game in that bank). If there's a tie after 3 games to advance or any spot 1st-4th place overall, top seed will have choice of order on tie-breaker machine. Each bank has a designated tie-breaker machine shown to the players upon selecting the bank.

This Main event is included with the Weekend package purchase. If you’d like this tournament only, cost is $40 (+ your entries). You don’t need to play both Friday and Saturday, and you can choose when to qualify, but all players in playoffs need to be available on Sunday at 3pm.
