Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 03, 2016
~3 Strike Tournament Format
The 3 strike format is really basic. Players compete in four (4) player group(s) to achieve highest score against their rivals to avoid getting strikes. Avoid getting 3 strikes to survive the longest.
All groups formations, players’ order of play and machine selections will be awarded by random selection process.
All tournament players’ names are submitted to software and drawn randomly to form four (4) player groups. These four (4) player groups are assigned play order to start a match round on one (1) machine named by random selection as well. This is considered typical as a single match round. This format will continue for each following match round until a winner is revealed.
Two (2) players with the higher scores against their opponents in these groups will win that match round and receive NO strikes. The two (2) players, within that same group, with lower scores will receive a single/ one (1) strike for that match round. This will continue until a player receives 3 strikes which will knock that player out of the tournament. The player’s finishing rank will be determined at tournament completion.
The player with the least amount of strikes in the final round will be the winner of the tournament.
When a two (2) or three (3) player group is formed, only the last place finisher is allotted a strike.
