Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 02, 2015
Tournament times: 5pm-9.30pm (approx.)
All games will be played on 2x WWE Wrestlemania machines set up in Tournament mode.
All scores will be eligible for IFPA King of the Ring tournament submission, should a player reach a score that high enough to make the worldwide Top 10.
Tournament format details:
QUALIFYING:
* Qualifying starts from 5pm, last game is at 8.30pm
* All games of qualifying will take place on the two available WWE Wrestlemania machines
* $1 per game buy-in (to be paid to the TD prior to game start)
* Top 2 scores on each machine will advance to a semi final.
* In the event that a player has multiple high scores across both machines, only their highest score will be used, with the rest to be dropped. The player(s) with the next highest scores will advance. This process will continue until there are 4 different players available for the final.
SEMI FINAL:
* The top 2 players on each machine will have a 1-game playoff on that particular machine to determine the finalists.
* The player with the highest score on each machine prior to the start of the semi will get to choose the player order for their match.
* Both matches will be played in a 2-player format.
FINAL:
* The 2 semi final winners progress to the final.
* The final will be contested in 2 games , with one game to be played on each available machine.
* The player with the highest registered score during their semi final match gets to choose the order of play AND which machine is played on first.
* After the first game is played, play switches to the other machine and the play order is reversed.
* The winner is determined on the highest aggregate score of both games played.
* The winner will win 70% of the prize fund, with 2nd place to win the remaining 30%.
PLEASE NOTE: Semi final and Finals games will be free of charge.
Players wishing to enter this event must pre-register for a Timezone Card and with Gold Coast Pinball Club ($15). There will be other pinball events on the same night at the same venue.
