Tournament Overview

End Date: June 23, 2024
Thursday Weekly Meetings (every 5th Thursday off)
Designed to be a fun recreational group of pinball players. Our format is NOT intended to maximize Whoppers. Instead its goal is to open up players to a wide array of games and locations, encouraging and conducive to an enjoyable social gathering. Competition is based on best score versus head to head play, with formats changing from High Score, PinGolf, PinBowling, etc.
Weekly dues set at $5/wk attended + coin drop. This will cover IFPA fees, finals prizes, operating costs and the like. An optional $5 buy-in also available for a cash payout to the top Four (participating) finishers of the week. As a rule, the start time is at 6pm and finishing at 10pm. Some locations may offer extended hours for completion of the week’s games and notification will be sent for any instances where the hours must be abbreviated.

League Scoring-
Weekly Points Based on finishing positions
1st-100
2nd- 95
3rd- 90
4th to Lowest- 85, 84, 83, 82 ….
No Show for the week will result in receiving 5 points lower than the lowest participant of that week.
Must participate in 6 of the nights to qualify for finals. Each player’s lowest three weekly scores will be dropped for the standings in the Final Tournament.
Final Tournament-
This WILL be a head to head elimination bracket.
Seedings based on total score throughout the weeks of League play (minus each player’s lowest three scores).
I hope to see many familiar faces throughout the upcoming months, as well as help introduce some new people to the joy of the Pinball community: locations, games and folks that make all this an enjoyable experience.
As a nod to MY inspiration for coordinating a League… . . .
Happy Flipping!
