Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 06, 2014
Tournament details will be posted at www.facebook.com/groups/cnypinball/events/
Tournament will be limited to 20 players, pre-registration by email/text/Facebook beginning on Sunday Nov 9th at Noon.
Main Tournament will be a Best Combined Game Score format on 2 machines that kick ass - AC/DC and Metallica!
Play will begin at 1pm and end whenever all competitors have completed their maximum allotment of games or declare themselves finished.
Only each players top score on each machine will count towards the final rankings.
Each player will get 3 attempts on each game, the best combined score for both two games added together will win.
Side tournament will be a Best Game Score on a single game to be announced
Players do not need to be present for the entire time period of the tournament, but will forfeit any turns on games that they are not present for.
Non-tournament games will be available for casual play while the tournament is running.
Entry Fees:

-The main tournament entry fee is $10 which will give the player 3* games on both machines (6 total)
*Note: If player turnout is low this may be increased at the tournament directors discretion
-The side tournament is $1 per game up to 5:30pm (game in progress allowed to complete).
Players may make as many entries into the side tournament as they have time for.
Main Tournament Prize Pool:

50% to the first place winner
25% to the second place finisher
15% to the third place finisher
10% to the fourth place finisher
Side Tournament Prize Pool:

Winner takes all!!!
Any ties will be settled with a one-game tiebreaker on a machine selected at random. If a tied player is not present for the tiebreaker they forfeit the tiebreaker.
Prize pools for main and side tournaments will be kept separately.
Other rules:
------------
-Slam tilts, bang-backs, and death saves are not allowed. First offesnse is a zero score on the current game, second is disqualification from the tournament.
-Intentionally interfering with another players game will result in disqualification from the tournament. The player interfered with may choose to restart the game or keep playing.
-Any player found intentionally damaging the machines and/or other players will be disqualified from the tournament immediately.
-If a main tournament machine breaks beyond repair another will be substituted for it from that point forward. Points will be reverted back to a PAPA style scoring system in that event (due to different scoring scales). Points will be counted from both machines but any player that chooses to play the replacement machine will void all scores they had on the original machine.
-If the side tournament machine breaks after more than an hour the side tournement ends. Before that it will be replaced with a different game and games played on the broken machine refunded.
