Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: October 24, 2017

GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Registration and warm up 5.45-6.30pm sharp.
2. Information and questions from players 6.30-6.45pm.
3. Tournament: 6.45-10.15pm.
ENTRY FEE: $25 for the whole night.
FORMAT: Flip Frenzy.
1) When the tournament starts each machine is randomly assigned 2 players. The remaining players are placed in a queue.
2) When a match is completed:
- the players circle the winner on the score card and the loser stays on the machine, unless he/she has lost twice consecutively, in which case the winner stays on.
- the person leaving the machine hands the score card to the scorer at the computer. That person then heads to the rear of the queue. When waiting in the queue, the player grabs a score card and fills in their name in player 2 position so it is ready to go.
- the player staying on the machine plays in position 1.
- the player at the front of the queue moves up to play the player staying on the machine with the score card ready to go.
3) At the end of 3 hours 30 minutes no more games may start. Whoever wins the most games in that time is declared the winner. Ties will be broken by the fewest losses and if still tied, by a single game playoff on a machine chosen at random.Ties will only be broken for first and second places.
