In September 2017, Mike Burgess out of Fort Wayne, Indiana moved himself 11,581 spots up the World Pinball Player Rankings. This earned him a “Biggest Mover” award and qualified him for the $tern Rewards Program. The rewards program allows qualifiers to purchase a brand new Stern pinball machine at a special IFPA price. Mike redeemed his reward for a Batman 66 Premium.

Since September ended, Mike has played in 5 more events in 2017, moving himself up from 7942nd to 5394th in the world.

As one of the players ranked in the top 1000 at the end of 2016, Raymond Davidson qualified himself for the IFPA’s $tern Rewards Program. In just his first year competing David has moved himself up the rankings into the top 6000 in the world.

P1040837As one of the Biggest Movers in the World Pinball Player Rankings in November 2012, Bryan Broyles qualified himself for the IFPA's $tern Rewards Program. The $tern Rewards Program allows qualifiers to purchase a brand new Stern pinball machine at a special IFPA price. Bryan redeemed his reward for an AC/DC Premium, which came with a certificate of authenticity signed by Gary Stern himself.

Bryan's November 2012 performance boosted him to 2716th in the world rankings, and since then he has shown no signs of slowing down. He's earned an additional 15.83 WPPR points during 2013, boosting him to a rank of 1316th in the world.

$tern Rewards Program – January 2013 Update

The IFPA is excited to announce that the following players have been now qualified for the $tern Rewards Program based on their January 2013 IFPA endorsed tournament performance! These players have until August 15th, 2014 to exercise their reward option.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH – [player]Steve Zahler[/player]
Steve earned 89.36 WPPR points in January, including a 2nd and 1st place finish in the Main and Classic tournaments at the Maryland Pinball Championship. In addition, Steve won the Middletown NY Pinball Open, and finished in 12th place at Pinferno.

BIGGEST MOVER AWARD – [player]Greg Matherly[/player]
Greg moved up 1487 spots by earning .66 WPPR points from his 56th place finish at the Pinferno tournament in New York. This moved Greg up to the 5341st ranked player in the world.

BIGGEST MOVER AWARD – [player]Jake Peterson[/player]
Jake moved up 793 spots from his 31st place finish at the Maryland Pinball Championship, along with a 26th place finish in the Classics Division. In total, Jake earned 2.21 WPPR points, which has moved him up to a rank of 2701st in the world.

BIGGEST MOVER AWARD – [player]Keith Brown[/player]
Keith moved up 665 spots from his victory at the Lost Ark Monthly Pinball Tournament. This netted Keith 6.26 WPPR points and boosted him into now being the 1571st ranked player in the world.
