November 2007 update
With the IFPA 5 World Pinball Championships now set for March 2008, the race is on to find the 64 qualifiers for the event. October saw another increase in our player base from 1496 players in October to 1602 players in November. Besides the 64 qualifying spots being up for grabs, there is also a very tight race for the “World’s Greatest Pinball player” title for 2007. Although Mats Runsten trails both Bowen Kerins and Keith Elwin for #1, he has both the Dutch Pinball Open and Swedish Pinball Championships remaining on his schedule to try and make up his deficit.
Biggest movers during October included Jeffrey Neumann moving up 787 from his 2nd place finish at the Pacific Pinball Exposition. Dave Mercer moved up 708 spots based on his performance at this year’s PinBrawl World Team Pinball Championships. Steven Perotti had a similar jump of 573 spots from his PinBrawl performance.
