Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 26, 2016
What is the amazing race format?
Everyone plays a game, lowest score for that game is knocked out.
Example:
Everyone signed up for the tournament lines up at the first game...let's say STTNG. Jeffrey Dickson is the brave one and decides to go first. He plays an entire game of STTNG and his score is 1 billion. 1 billion is now the current low score of STTNG. This means Jeffrey must wait by the game until another player scores lower than him in their three balls. Jeffrey is now allowed to start a game of family guy and Aaron Florian or whomever scored lower must wait until someone gets lower than his score before they can move on. Had aaron passed jeff on STTNG, aaron can now end his game early since he is safe to advance, and start on family guy. If everyone scores higher than 1 billion on sttng, jeffrey is eliminated and finishes in last place. Continue this and keep eliminating one player for every game. Easy?
Buy-in: $5...tournament games will be set on coin drop. Plunge extra-balls. Players are required to move onto the next game if they have passed a lower score!
10-11:45: Practice
Tournament starts at noon.
Cutoff time for registration is at 12:30pm.
A one hour break will be taken when we are down to the final 8. At this point all player orders on machines will be chosen randomly.
All games must be single player games until we are down to the final four.
100% of the entry fee goes towards the prize pool. Top 8 get paid.
