Qualification for Retro Arcade Open is a bit different, here players will be divided into groups of 15, where everybody plays everybody in their group head to head, machines to be decided at random from a bank of about 70, both classic, “golden era” and newer Sterns.

All tournaments end in a head to head bracket, culminating in a 4 player final.
